At Socassat Instalaciones y Servicios S.L. ("Socassat", "we") we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process through this website (www.hotelinfo.es) and the HotelInfo product, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.

2. What data we process and why

a) Contact form and WhatsApp

When you fill in the quote form or message us on WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (name, email, phone, hotel name and your message) for the sole purpose of responding to your request and preparing a commercial proposal. We do not use it for anything else nor share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

b) Website analytics

This site does not use tracking or advertising-profiling cookies. If an analytics tool is added in the future, it will be anonymous or subject to prior consent, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

c) Guest data in the HotelInfo product

An important distinction: when a hotel subscribes to HotelInfo, the app its guests use does not require registration nor collect personally identifiable data from the guest. Product analytics are 100% anonymous: only device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and browser language are recorded, never linked to any individual. When a guest reports an issue, the hotel only receives the information the guest chooses to write. In that processing, the hotel is the controller and Socassat acts as processor, governed by the corresponding data processing agreement.

3. Legal basis

• Consent: by sending us your data via the form or WhatsApp, you consent to us processing it to handle your enquiry.
• Legitimate interest: maintaining commercial communication with you when you have shown interest in our services.
• Performance of a contract: when you subscribe to HotelInfo, to provide the service.

4. Retention period

We keep your contact data for the duration of the commercial relationship and, after it ends, for the legally required periods to address any liabilities. Data from an enquiry that does not lead to a contract is deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. Data may be processed by technology providers serving us (e.g. web hosting or email), always under a data processing agreement and with GDPR safeguards. If any provider is outside the European Economic Area, we ensure adequate international transfer safeguards are in place.

6. Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to info@socassat.com stating the right you wish to exercise. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply the technical and organisational measures needed to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, in line with the risk level of the processing.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
